Teachers Union of Ireland say teachers are being lobbed by parents and students to give them better grades

The Teachers Union of Ireland say that teachers are being put under pressure from both parents and students and that it’s a clear message that any effort to lobby or canvass will not be successful.

It’s understood that it could have a detrimental effect and that intervening could cause issues for the student in question.

Many students feel that it’s completely unfair that they are going to get graded on they performed during the year rather than a one-off end of year exam.
