Gardai in Co Meath have sadly confirmed that a teenage girl has died following a road traffic incident.
It is understood that the 17 year old girl was killed following a crash at Pelletstown, Drumree, on Thursday afternoon.
Gardai say a young man aged in his 20s was seriously injured in the incident which occurred at approximately 4.40pm.
They also say a teenage boy was also injured in the collision and he was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, for treatment on non life threatening injuries.
