Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that a teenager has been arrested in connection with the assault of a man at Newbridge Train station last week.
It is understood the teenage boy is being questioned after a man aged in his 20s sustained stab wounds following the incident which occurred on Friday, January 31st.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
They added that the incident is being treated as a hate.
