Tensions have risen sharply between the United States and Russia after Joe Biden called President Putin a murderer leading to Moscow recalling its ambassador for consultations.
“He will pay a price,” Biden said of Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him a “killer” with no soul after vowing to retaliate against the nuclear power over alleged interference in the 2020 presidential election during an interview with ABC.
Following this the Russian ambassador in Washington, Anatoly Antonov, has been invited to come to Moscow for consultations conducted with the aim of analysing what should be done and where to go in the context of ties with the United States,’ according to a statement by Russia’s foreign ministry.
