Football reveller Tommy McCarthy from Cork sent us this image this morning showing Irish fans stopping to help an elderly couple whose car ran a flat tyre.
Tommy told The Liberal:
“We’re over the moon to be here. The atmosphere is nothing short of amazing and there has been no trouble from the Irish”.
He continued:
” I’m not in this photo myself, but my friend was there and he sent it to me via WhatsApp. It shows the true nature of good spirit the Irish fans have over here. We’re just here to party “.
