The final part of the trilogy: Diaz calls for round three – McGregor agrees but on his terms

With the blood barely dried from their historic fight at UFC 202 both Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are willing to do it all again.

After an epic rematch in Las Vegas both men are seemingly up for what many have already dubbed the final part of the trilogy. The new development comes after Nate Diaz issued a call for another bout when he felt he should have gotten tonight’s decision.

Diaz is quoted as saying: “Hey good job today, Conor, but we’re going for three. For real. Until then I ain’t coming back.”

However the rematch will be on McGregor’s terms after he admitted that going the distance in tonight’s bout was exhausting, McGregor said: “I proved the class difference but that toughness and durability crept in the later rounds.”

McGregor further stated: “It’s 1-1, now let’s do it again at 155lb” “Surprise, surprise, m***********! The king is back!

“If you want the trilogy, come back down to 155lb and we’ll do it. “My coach says we win or we learn and I learned from the last fight. Let’s do the trilogy but on my terms. At 155lbs.

“I went up to 170lb, I fought the bigger man. He’s a hell of a competitor. He brought out the best in me.”

Meanwhile Diaz, responded by saying he thought he should have had the decision. “I thought I won that fight.”

“We’re going for three. For real.”

The trilogy is on!
