The four Archbishops of Ireland have written to the Taoiseach Micheal Martin to ask him to allow people to attend Mass during Level 3 restrictions.
It’s understood that the Archbishops expressed concern for people who feel isolated from the Church and that it’s not simply a normal gathering of people, but rather people expressing their faith.
The Church leaders stated that every church has stringent social distancing and regulations and guidelines enforced and that people could still safely go to Mass during Level 3.
Micheal Martin has yet to make an announcement about the letter.
