The number of people who have died from the Coronavirus in Italy has risen to 50 the Civil Protection Agency has confirmed.
The news comes the total number of cases reached 2,036 in the country on Monday.
It is believed that most of the cases are located in the North of the country. It appears to be spreading in northern Italy the most, but other areas have patients too.
Authorities say that a total of 149 people have since recovered.
