Taylor who was in her first fight since her gruelling encounter with Delfine Persoon, won the fight with a unanimous decision with the judges scoring the fight 100-89, 100-90, 99-91.
The Bray native who could have won the bout earlier with a fifth round stoppage was dominant from the first bell quickly hitting her opponent with a quick combination.
Taylor who was forced to go the distance was in full in control despite a resilient performance from Gutierrez who held firm to take Taylor all the way.
