Commuters in and out of Dublin will face an annoying amount of traffic disruption this coming Friday as a number of diversions will be put in place throughout the capital in order to facilitate the upcoming visit of Prince Charles and Camilla.
The royal grid lock which will affect thousands of commuters will begin this Friday morning when the Prince of Wales and his wife will be taken to Glasnevin cemetery to pay their respects to post their lives during the 1916 Easter Rising.
As a result of the British monarchy’s visit, Dublin City Council have decided to close routes in order to provide the adequate amount of safety for the pair.
The city council have confirmed that commuters will be forced to take alternative routines as the the N2 Finglas Road will be officially closed from 9am to 1pm.
The unwanted disruption will also see a number of Bus routes being altered in order to facilitate the visit.
