The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and British PM Theresa May’s talks were “very warm and productive”

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and British Prime Minister Theresa May met at Farmleigh House in Dublin last night.

The main topic of discussion was crucial Brexit talks as all sides look for some sort of soluction and resolution to the border issue.

The two leaders discussed Brexit and the restoration of power-sharing at Stormont during a meeting that lasted close to 3 hours and included dinner.

Their talks were described as being “very warm and productive”.

There is still very much a deadlock in terms of how Brexit will play out but this meeting was least amicable.

May flew back to London at 11pm last night.
