
While homelessness is rampant in this country, with mass evictions for a profit expected to occur nationwide soon, and people languish on trolleys for days and nights on end, the wheel of free money for those at the top shows no signs of stopping.
It has emerged this morning that the personal driver of former Ceann Comhairle Sean Barrett was able to claim €11,000 in expenses in 2015.
Dominic Hearn, a former garda, was entitled to a €125 untaxed payment for each day of work, as he does not reside Dublin.
The expenses of just over €11,000 were approved by Mr. Barrett.
