They’re the talk of the nation, the syndicate family who has scooped one of the largest sums ever won in a lottery in Ireland’s history.
The syndicate that has won the extraordinary amount of €175 million euro has been named as the Rogers family from County Meath.
The syndicate is made up of five sisters and four brothers who’ll all receive roughly €20 million euros each.
But that wasn’t the case originally. According to the Mirror, the winners have already done this very kind gesture as the original syndicate had only six people in it but they’ve decided to include all three remaining siblings who weren’t in the original syndicate – something that is very commendable.
Locals in County Meath say that they’re over the moon for the family who are well liked and well-known.
