A 39-yr-old unidentified man has tragically died after his bag got caught on a train at Grand Central terminal in New York City on Tuesday night.
The man was dragged from the platform on to the train tracks and then pulled into a stairway where an electrical box electrocuted and killed him.
Authorities announced that the man that died immediately at the scene.
It’s understood that the man was somewhat staggering down the stairs of the time that his bag got caught on the train but this has not been officially confirmed by police.
Authorities have warned people to be extremely vigilant on platforms as the slightest incident can end in disaster.
