Thirteen patas monkeys died at Woburn Safari Park near Milton Keynes, UK, after their enclosure went up in flames overnight.
The fire was discovered by security guards at the zoo. Three fire units attended the scene, but the enclosure was well ablaze and the roof had caved in by the time emergency services arrived. Sadly, none of the patas monkeys could be saved.
A faulty generator has been blamed for the fire.
