Thousands turn out in force to protest against the current homeless and housing crisis




An estimated 10,000 people took to the streets of Dublin on Saturday to protest against the current homeless and housing crisis.

In the latest of a series of protests highlighting the ongoing issue, people from all over the country representing different groups voiced their anger at the Government in regards to the current crisis.

According to RTÉ News, the match which was organised by The National Homeless and Housing Coalition, saw protesters call on the Go to enact serious change as latest figures surpassed 10,000 people.

The campaign are calling on the Government to introduce a Constitutional right to housing, tougher rent controls on landlords and more affordable social housing.
