Three American sisters were allegedly assaulted on New Year’s Eve in the Spanish port city of Murcia with two the women being raped while the third managed to fight off her attackers.
The UK Daily Mail reports that Spanish police are hunting three middle eastern men, believed to be Iranian who allegedly assaulted the girls after returning to one of the sisters’ homes with them after they met at bar.
The three women received medical attention after the incident at the local hospital and the Spanish National Police in Murcia have said that they have received an official complaint and launched an investigation.
The three sisters, aged 23, 20 and 18 were celebrating New Years Eve in the city before meeting the men. According to local Spanish media two of the girls were visiting their sister who was studying in the country.
