Authorities in Israel have confirmed that a couple in their 30s have died after getting trapped inside a lift during floods.
According to Haaretz, the couple became trapped inside the lift whilst trying to reach their car at an apartment complex in Tel Aviv.
Although rescue teams worked frantically to rescue the couple, they both sadly passed away in hospital a short time later.
It is believed that the lift suffered an electrical shortage during the floods which resulted in the couple becoming trapped inside.
