A woman and two female teenagers had to be airlifted out of Croagh Patrick last night, after the trio lost their way in the dark.
It is understood a rescue helicopter was launched, and the climbers were brought to safety.
They were taken to hospital as a precaution, but they were not believed to have sustained any injuries.
