Three people are being investigated following migrant trafficking detected in Cork




In relation to an inquiry into labour exploitation and human trafficking, three men have been taken into custody in County Cork, reports Breaking News.

The men, who were in their 30s and 40s, were taken into custody early on Saturday morning. Additionally, searches were conducted at two locations in Roscommon and five places in Cork.

Items that held evidence value were found during the searches, according to the Gardaí, reports Breaking News.

At Cork Garda stations, the three males are being held under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 of 2007.

More than a hundred officers from several Garda units, including the Armed Support Unit, participated in the operation on Saturday morning, reports Breaking News.
