
A man has been arrested after an incident in Co Wexford on Saturday in which several cars were damaged with an axe.
The incident happened at around 4.15pm, when a man caused damage to four vehicles that were parked at Forth Mountain car park, reports Breaking News.
After a search operation, a man in his 50s was located at a residential address in Taghmon, where the Armed Support Unit used a less-than-lethal force option to carry out the arrest.
He is currently being held at a Garda station in the Eastern Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà said investigations into the incident are continuing.
