The HSE have once again called on the public to get the much publicised flu vaccine.
In a brief announcement made over the weekend the health authority called on the public to make sure they receive the vaccine in the coming days following the recent outbreak of the much feared Aussie flu strain.
The warning comes after a small number of people sadly died as a result of the outbreak which has hit the country over the past two weeks.
In the statement the HSE say those who are at risk of contracting the virus should immediately make an appointment with their GP in order for them to get vaccinated.
The HSE say those with serious medical conditions and the elderly are high risk to contract the virus if they do not receive the vaccine.
