Top Harvard doctor claims up to 50% of confirmed covid cases may no longer be infectious

A top Harvard doctor was interviewed on Tuesday night’s PrimeTime and suggested something that many people have been mooting for some months now.

Dr Michael Mina, a top professor of epidemiologist in Harvard University suggested that as much as 50% of confirmed covid cases may actually be no longer infectious to other people.

Dr Mina would like to see a second test carried out the day after someone has tested positive for covid to see whether the level of infection in the individual had decreased – meaning that the worst be may over them and that they potentially may no longer be infectious to other people.

Along with that, top doctors are calling for saliva tests to be carried out in an effort to increase testing and do a quicker turnaround.
