Traffic nightmare in Dublin’s city centre as farmers with up to 400 tractors are set to protest this afternoon

Farmers from around the country and making their way to Dublin’s city centre once again today to hold a protest.

They’ll be accompanied by up to 400 tractors which will severely affect the flow of traffic through the city with multiple roads temporarily closed off.

It follows on from their protests in November when they were demanding the government take some action on the price of beef.

Roads that will be closed from 10am are Kildare Street, Molesworth Street, St Stephen’s Green South,
Merrion Square West/South/East and Merrion Street Upper.

Heavy traffic and delays are also said to impact those coming in from the N2, N3, N4, N7 and N81 roads from after 12pm.
