A 19-yr-old man has lost his life today after being involved in a workplace accident in Cork. The accident happened before lunchtime.
The accident happened at the Palfab pallet factory in Lissarda near Macroom around 10:30am.
Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority have begun separate investigations following the death of the man. The 19 year old Cork native was working at a factory near Macroom when the incident occurred.
A post mortem will be carried out over the next day. Gardai have not released a name of the victim.
