A cyclist has sadly passed away following a tragic road collision in Co Donegal today.
A van collided with the man, who was in his 40s, at Moneydarragh, Gleneely, on the Redcastle to Gleneely road around 9.15am this morning.
A second cyclist injured in the incident was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital, however his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The driver of the van was not injured.
The road at the scene remains closed for forensic and crash examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to call the Garda Confidential Line.
