There is more sad news this morning, as a woman has sadly lost her life after being struck by a vehicle in Co. Cavan.
The fatal collision happened near the town of Lisgrea, on the N3 road, at around 7:15am.
The road is closed to facilitate a technical examination, and local diversions are in place.
