Up to 16 tennis players, some of whom are Grand Slam winners, have been implicated in match-fixing claims.
The scandal broke recently, with rumours of widespread foul play among players acting in collusion with betting syndicates, which may have netted hundreds of thousands of pounds after some games -including Wimbledon matches- were rigged.
While allegations of match fixing in tennis is nothing new, the scale and extent of the latest scandal is unprecedented. Some big names have been implicated.
The European Sports Security Association, which monitors betting patterns, did raise concerns about than 50 suspicious matches to the Tennis Integrity Units (TIU) in 2015 alone.
