The Department of Foreign affairs has confirmed this afternoon that a four-year-old boy from county Dublin has sadly died following a drowning incident in the Caribbean.

The young boy named Finn McCarthy from Blackrock tragically lost his life on Saturday afternoon when he got into difficulties in a swimming pool in Puerto Rico.
The Department have also said they are currently providing consular assistance to the boy’s family.
