Gardaí have tragically confirmed that the body of missing man Cathal Whelan has been found.
Mr Whelan, who was originally from Co Leitrim and was living in Clifden, Co Galway was reported missing on Tuesday, October 15.
Gardaí say Mr Whelan’s bod was recovered on Tuesday.
