Gardaí in Co Cork have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has died following a single vehicle collision on Monday.
It is understood the man was killed after he was struck by a truck on the Cork to Kinsale Road.
Gardaí say the vehicle the man was travelling in collided with a ditch before he was tragically struck by a lorry.
