Gardai in Co Cavan have confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic incident.
It is understood that the man aged in his 60s was killed after he was struck by a car at Coras Point, near Cavan town at approximately 9pm on Wednesday evening.
Gardai say no one else waa injured in the collision and an investigation is currently ongoing.
