Police in the UK have confirmed that a man has sadly died after being crushed by falling rocks at a popular beach in Cornwall.
According to reports in the UK, the man was pronounced dead at the scene after a number of rocks fell from a cliff edge at Sandymouth beach, in Bude at approximately 11.45am on Tuesday morning.
It is believed that the horrifying incident was seen by a number of onlookers who immediately called emergency services.
However despite the best efforts of emergency services the man was sadly pronounced dead.
Police investigating the incident say they have yet to determine what caused the rocks to fall, but have confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
