Police in Turkey have confirmed that a British man has died after falling from the seventh floor window of a building in Istanbul.
According to The Daily Mail newspaper, the British tourist who was holidaying with ex-girlfriend and another friend fell 70ft from a window lat a building in Hacimimi Mahallesi Karabas Street in the district of Beyoglu.
The Daily Mail reports that the man was seen by onlookers dangling from the window whilst trying to move his way to another window sill.
Police in Istanbul say they have begun an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile the British Foreign Office have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident.
