Gardaí in Cork have confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic incident.
It is understood the man aged in his 40s was killed following a collision between a car and a lorry on the Ballincollig by-pass.
Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
