A 7-yr-old boy has tragically died following an accident at a swimming pool in Co Clare.
It’s understood that emergency services rushed to an incident at a premises in Killaloe at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
The boy was rushed to University Hospital Limerick where he sadly died a short time later, gardai have confirmed tonight.
Gardai say that the coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
