The bodies of two of the crew of Rescue 116 are still missing. Paul Ormsby and Ciarán Smith bodies have tragically never been recovered since the helicopter crashed into Blackrock Island on March 14th.

There’s a combined effort from Gardaí, the coast guard and local community workers to try and finally recover the men’s bodies once and for all.
The MFV Westbound is going to scan the seabed for any previously undiscovered material while garda drivers will start new dives if needs be.
