A toddler has sadly died after being electrocuted by a phone charger it put in its mouth.
According to The Times of India, the young infant reported to be aged 2, sadly passed away following the incident which occurred Jahangirabad.
It is believed the child put the plugged in cable in its mouth after her mother removed her phone from her charger and forgot to switch it off.
Police investigating the incident say the child was sadly pronounced dead despite best efforts of medical personnel at a nearby hospital.
It is reported that the family had been staying at child’s grandparents when the tragedy occurred.
