Authorities in the US State of Missouri have confirmed that two young boys aged 6 and 7 sadly died after they crashed their grandparents car into a tree.
It is understood that the tragic accident occurred just East of Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers investigating the incident say the car which was being driven by the older sibling crashed when it hit a guy wire before overturning and crashing into a tree on a country road
It is believed that the vehicle then burst into flames.
Officers say the two boys were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation into how the boys came into possession of the vehicle is currently ongoing.
