A young boy fell to his death from the White Cliffs of Dover in the UK on the first day a family holiday.
According to the Metro, Mati Urb was celebrating his 12th birthday when he went for a walk with his family along the famous cliffs. His parents lost sight of Mati but couldn’t find him.
The Coastguard was then contacted and Mati was found at the base of the cliffs after a search that involved a lifeboat, helicopter and police team. Medics tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-morten into the tragedy concluded that Mati died of head injuries and the death was ruled as an accident in the coroner’s inquest.
