A man believed to be in his 20s has sadly been pronounced dead, after being found floating face down in the River Lee in Cork.
It is understood that the man got into difficulties while swimming near the Regional Park in Ballincollig yesterday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the man was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
