Trains moving in and out of Heuston Station are experiencing delays of up to 2 hours due to an electricity fault.
It is understood that the fault affected signalling near Kildare. Iarnrod Eireann has confirmed that the problem is now resolved, but delays will remain for some time.
Commuters affected by the delays will be able to claim compensation.
