Entertainment and broadband company UPC has today announced plans to rebrand as “Virgin Media Ireland”.
A spokesperson for the company has said that such move will allow for “further progress” in the development of new entertainment services. Current customers and products will be trasferred to Virgin Media. Details of the transfer will be announced in the coming weeks.
Magnus Ternsjö, CEO of UPC Ireland, has said: “In almost every corner of the world, the Virgin brand is famous for its entrepreneurial spirit in delivering more for customers, which is exactly what we’re going to do by building even further on all our innovation and achievements to date.”
