If you are due to fly today, Thursday, you’d better check with your airline before turning up at the airport, as both Ryanair and Aer Lingus have been forced to cancel dozens of flights due to strike action by air traffic controllers in France.
Apart from cancellations, long delays may also affect other scheduled flights.
French air traffic controllers have been engaged in a long campaign of industrial action, with three more days of strike planned for the month of June.
