Becky Brock (18), was found dead in her hotel room in Ibiza yesterday morning. The young woman who had dual British and Dutch nationality from Nottingham was staying at the Marco Polo Hotel in San Antonio. It is reported that a cleaner found her body at around 11am.
An investigation has begun to look into the cause of Becky’s death. A post-mortem will take place to determine her cause of death. A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We can confirm the death of a British national in Ibiza on September 28. We are providing consular assistance to the family at this difficult time.”
Friend Beth Knight wrote on Facebook: “My amazing girl Becky Brock , you faced so many challenges and did so beautifully. You were the most thoughtful and caring friend, always making effort so that those around you felt special. I am truly heartbroken that everything we had to look forward to together will now not happen but I know I’m blessed to have known such an independent, strong and determined young women (sic). Thinking of you forever and always beck, all your girls love you x”
