Early this morning, a vehicle tragedy in County Armagh claimed the lives of four persons, reports RTE.

Around 2:10 in the morning, something happened on Armagh City’s Ballynahonemore Road.

At the site, the driver and three passengers—who have not yet been officially identified—were pronounced dead, reports RTE.

This is “an unspeakable tragedy for the families involved, and for the wider community, who will understandably struggle to comprehend such loss of life,” according to PSNI District Commander Superintendent Paul McGrattan.

“A thorough and sensitive investigation is now under way and anyone with information that could assist us is asked to get in touch with the Collision Investigation Unit,” he added, reports RTE.
