Tributes paid after teenager dies after being struck by a car in Limerick




A teenager was killed after being hit by a car in Limerick city on Wednesday evening, reports Breaking News.

The collision happened on Wednesday in the Bank Place area of Limerick at around 11.40am.

The teenage girl was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries, where she died. No other casualties were reported in the clashes, reports Breaking News.

Bank Place Road is currently closed due to local detours. The accident scene will be inspected by forensic experts.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.

All road users who may have camera footage (including dash cam footage) and were traveling in the Bank Place area of Limerick City between 11pm and 11.45pm are asked to share this footage with police, reports Breaking News.
