The driver of an 85-yr-old woman’s automobile perished in a collision in County Down, reports Breaking News.

At around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, the elderly person was involved in an accident at Ballyroney, which is near Rathfriland, while driving a grey Nissan Qashqai.
The deadly collision on Tierkelly Hill Road involved no other cars.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance were among the officers that visited the scene, according to Inspector Cherith Adair of the PSNI’s accident investigation team, reports Breaking News.
“Sadly, the woman passed away at the scene. An investigation to establish the circumstances of this collision is now underway, and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information which may assist, or who was travelling in the area at the time and captured dashcam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch on 101, quoting reference number 970 of July 21,” reports Breaking News.
