Tributes paid to motorcyclist (40s) sadly killed in car crash on M50




Tributes have been paid after a motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, sadly died in a road traffic collision on the M50 in Dublin on Friday morning.

The crash involved a lorry and a motorbike and happened shortly after 10am on the northbound carriageway of the M50 between Junction 7 (N4 Liffey Valley) and Junction 6 (N3 Castleknock) turnoffs.

The driver of the lorry, a man in aged his 50s, was taken to hospital for shock.

Gardaí closed the scene of the crash to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but was since reopened today.
