Tributes paid to motorcyclist (40s) sadly killed in car crash on M50




Tributes have been paid after a motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, sadly died in a road traffic collision on the M50 in Dublin on Friday morning.

The crash involved a lorry and a motorbike and happened shortly after 10am on the northbound carriageway of the M50 between Junction 7 (N4 Liffey Valley) and Junction 6 (N3 Castleknock) turnoffs.

The driver of the lorry, a man in aged his 50s, was taken to hospital for shock.

GardaĆ­ closed the scene of the crash to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but was since reopened today.
