Tributes paid to pedestrian (40) killed after being struck by motorcycle in Dublin




After being hit by a motorbike on Wednesday night in Coolock, County Dublin, a pedestrian has passed away, reports Breaking News.

The pedestrian, a forty-year-old lady, suffered severe injuries and was sent to Beaumont Hospital. Since then, a post-mortem examination has been scheduled, and her status has been declared deceased. The biker didn’t sustain any injuries.

Forensic collision investigators performed a technical inspection and temporarily stopped the R139 near Belcamp. Since then, the road has reopened, reports Breaking News.

Any witnesses to this accident are being urged to come forward by the Gardaí.

Road users are requested to provide any camera video (including dash cam footage) they may have and may have had while travelling on the R139 at Belcamp, Coolock on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, between 7 and 7:30 p.m, reports Breaking News.
